Intervention Services:
Our Intervention Services program provides assessments,
case management, placement, referrals, and outreach services to drug
dependent females. The Intervention Specialist provides education in-services
on alcohol, drugs, HIV, and the impact on women and pregnancy to community
members, Children & Families, Palm Beach County Health Department
and other community agencies.
Residential Treatment Services:
Our Residential Treatment program's primary service
is alcohol and drug habilitation and rehabilitation for women who struggle
with the disease of addiction. This is accomplished through daily lectures,
films, individual and group counseling, parenting classes, dual diagnosis
evaluation and treatment, and learning conflict resolution and problem
solving skills. This is an extended care program providing the latest
therapy techniques and a thorough grounding in 12-step programs for continued
recovery. The resident becomes responsible for their own actions through
the completion of household responsibilities, being on time for group
and individual counseling sessions, and following through on medical,
physical, dietetic and hygienic needs on a daily basis. What makes Gratitude
House unique is that it is women treating women. Gender specific treatment
provides a safe environment for women to address issues of sexual abuse,
domestic violence, and guilt and shame. The average length of stay is
6 to 9 months. Click

and Infants in Treatment Together) is a pregnant and postpartum program
specifically designed so that newborns and infants can live in residence
with their mothers as they receive chemical dependency treatment.
