Our Alumnae

Our programs encourage women to dramatically change their lives with the goal of becoming happy, healthy and substance free.

Bobbi Michelle (“Over 8 years clean and sober!”)

bobbi-michelle-1Tell us a little bit about your life today.

My life today is fulfilling. It has substance. It’s absolutely worth living.

How did you come to Gratitude House?

I was introduced to Gratitude House by way of the Watershed treatment center.

My life today is fulfilling. It has substance. It’s absolutely worth living.

Tell us about your experience at Gratitude House.

My experience at Gratitude House was life changing. It was exactly what I needed to get my life back and on track. The structure was absolutely necessary. The staff was for the most part, incredibly compassionate and helpful.

When I think of Gratitude House I get a warm fuzzy feeling inside. Most of the memories are very comforting. It’s so nice to know that I am welcome and cared for there, and that I can visit 365 days a year.

In what ways do you give back to the community today?

I give back to my community by visiting the women incarcerated in the local jail and giving them encouragement. I gladly share my testimony anytime that I am asked, including at the jail. I donate haircuts every other Thursday to current residents at Gratitude House and volunteer with pretty much anything asked of me there.

Is there any message you have for people who support Gratitude House?

I would like for the donors to know that their money is not being wasted. It is going to a very good cause and it is changing lives every day for the better. I am living proof of that. I am a very grateful alumnus of Gratitude House and any donation is needed and greatly appreciated.
